The Secret to Yaro Starak’s Blogging Success

Yaro Starak of Entrepreneur’s Journey started blogging to build backlinks for his business website. Since then he has not only become a problogger, but mentors others as well through Blog Mastermind.
He’s a busy guy, so his response to my one-question interview was straight to the point. The question was, “What is the secret to your blogging success?”
Yaro said:
Consistent hard work publishing fresh ideas every week.
I could go on and on, but in a nutshell, that pretty much answers it.

The secret to classic writers such as Charles Dickens, Franz Kafka, Henrik Ibsen, or Joseph Conrad is that they worked hard in their chosen passion.
The same secret rings true to blogging or any field of endeavor.

@SBW: That’s a great example and brings up the point of passion. If you don’t have passion for your topic it will be difficult to maintain the level of work and creativity required for success . . . in blogging or in anything else.
I suppose if you throw enough darts at a board, eventually one will hit the bullseye. Or something like that - I’m not really certain of the metaphor.
Anywho, unless you really suck you’ll eventually get some traffic if you consistently publish and do at least a bare minimum of marketing (submit a few posts to StumbleUpon and post some forum threads and blog commenting and etc.).

Short and Sweet… but there really isn’t just a magic answer… To be successful you need to work hard << and that is usually the answer that most people don’t want to hear or will pretend they didn’t hear.
