Is it just me or are 95% of company blogs worthless anyways? I just feel like they refuse to let their employees speak candidly and just rehash crap that sounds like their product manual.

Copying someone else’s content is not only duplicate but in violation of copy write laws. I wonder if the CopyScape program would also tell me if someone has taken some of my content and reposted it as theirs?

Helping with the “sticky” factor of content is if you make calls to action. Often readers of your post just don’t know what to do after they have read a great post. Ask them to sign up to receive the latest posts or direct them to your sign-up page so they keep in the loop on posts that can help them. Doing this consistenly on posts will really grow your subscribe base.

I am glad you mentioned that you will also get “respect from visitors”. Too often people concentrate on the benefits of the search engines and lose their focus on their visitors.

Unique and Original content are absolutely essential to dominating in the search engines and with visitors. You will only earn valuable links if your content is good enough.
